The aim of poker is to bet until all other players have folded. Bluffing is a feature of the game, and it distinguishes it from other types of vying games. Players must choose actions based on probability and psychology. Generally, a good strategy is to play all hands that are greater than or equal to six.
When the highest-ranking hand is revealed, a showdown is held to determine who wins. The highest-ranking hand is the one with the most valuable cards. Historically, this game was played by gentlemen during the American Revolution. Today, it is still played in the U.K.
